Who are We?
The AccessD list is owned and operated by Database Advisors Inc., a Delaware corporation with all shares held by individual members of the list who have invested their assets in its creation, maintenance, and growth.
Only shareholders of Database Advisors Inc. have a vote in its operations. Shares are available to any list member. If you wish to become a shareholder contact Keith Williamson, our Treasurer at treasurer@databaseadvisors.com for details.
A Board of Directors and Officers was elected and the by-laws approved at a shareholder meeting held on 10 January 2001.
The Board of Directors meetings are currently scheduled for 22:30 GMT (5:30 PM EST) the last Wednesday of each month. The meeting is open to any list member's attendance and participation in all discussions, but voting is restricted to board members. Post a query to the Maintenance list to ask for details on the venue of the board meetings.
Details are posted regularly on the Maintenance list. We are currently working on a wide array of projects to make better resources available to our fellow list members and have a need for anyone's assistance who would care to participate ...it can be a real learning experience for you in a number of ways and will contribute to a greatly improved Access community for all of us.
Anyone wishing to assist in any manner is asked to post a message to the Maintenance list with a subject line of "New Volunteer For AccessD". You will be contacted directly by one of our volunteer coordinators who will try to match your interests and skills with current project needs. If you don't think you have any needed skills, I can assure you that you are wrong.
