RELEVANT SUBJECT LINES - Please make a special effort to change the subject line as a thread moves to another topic. This will greatly improve the speed and your rate of success as you search within the archives.
SNIP! - Don't Overquote. If the message you are responding to is very long, don't quote the entire message in your reply. You can quote only the part of the message that is relevant, and leave out plenty in between. Keep in mind that for those that pay per minute, or based on the amount of data transferred, this can become quite expensive. In addition, unneccessary text carried from post to post is a waste of diskspace reserved for the archives and could potentially result in additional costs.
REPLIES - Although email is delivered quickly, the reply may not necessarily be immediate, so it is usually preferable to repeat (quote) some of the message back in your reply. For instance, rather than answering:
Yes
Put your answer at the top, or just below the quoted message: (over/under argument can be had if you like)
Yes, I found it quite helpful! Buy if it you can find it!
