Gary Kjos has worked in the Information Technology field since 1975.

For many years he designed and implemented order collection and fulfillment applications for a regional pharmaceutical wholesaler using COBOL and CICS and DL/1 databases in an IBM Mainframe environment. Later work involved conversion of the same systems to the AS/400 platform where he was introduced to relational databases. Since 1996 the majority of his projects have involved Microsoft Access.
